Our seasoned Executive Director and board-certified Medical Directors and nurse practitioner lead an expert interdisciplinary team of advanced practice professionals, nurses, social workers, chaplains, and aides who specialize in caring for people facing a serious illness or life-limiting condition. Our team is actively involved in each patient’s plan of care in order to achieve the best outcome.

Vanessa Noonan, RN
Title: Executive Director

Vanessa first joined the Bristol Hospice ~ Oregon team in 2012 as Director of Patient Care Services, and played an integral role in the operational start up. She was appointed as Executive Director in 2014. Vanessa graduated from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV) with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and has resided in Portland Oregon since 2001.

Vanessa has many years of leadership and clinical experience in community health including home health and hospice. Prior to join Bristol Hospice ~ Oregon, she held clinical leadership positions at Adventist Home Health, Legacy Emanuel Hospital and St. Joseph Hospital.

Vanessa enjoys working with the senior population, providing care and support to patients and their families to maintain the highest quality of life. She focuses on keeping the Bristol Hospice ~ Oregon team knowledgeable on the latest end-of-life care trends and information.

In her free time, Vanessa is an avid reader, involved in her community and cherishes the time spent with her family as they enjoy the beauty of Oregon.

Jeffrey Edward McWilliams, MD
Title: Medical Director

Board Certified in Internal Medicine, Hematology, and Medical Oncology, Dr. Jeffrey Edward McWilliams joined Bristol Hospice ~ Oregon in 2012 as Medical Director and has current affiliation with Oncology and Palliative consulting, LLC, as its president and physician.

Dr. McWilliams has more than 20 years of leadership and experience in the areas of internal medicine, hematology, medical oncology and hospice care in Oregon. Working across medical spectrum, Dr. McWilliams has held positions as Medical Director of Willamette Falls Hospice, Northwest Cancer Specialists, PC, and Physicians Medical Group. He has also was appointed as Instructor in Medicine and Assistant Professor of Medicine at Oregon Health and Science University. Dr. McWilliams believes in health promotion throughout the community and is an advocate for the delivery of Veteran’s services. He always places compassionate, patient care first and
loves to educate those who he works with both professional and non-professional.

Dr. McWilliams graduated with high honors from Portland State University with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and received a Doctor of Medicine degree from Oregon Health and Science University, graduating cum laude.

In his free time, he enjoys playing classical works on the piano, traveling, gardening and spending time with his family.

Christopher Eilersen, M.D
Title: Medical Director

Dr. Eilersen is a board-certified family medicine physician. He attended medical school at Oregon Health and Sciences University. He completed residency in family medicine at The Washington Hospital in Washington, Pennsylvania.

Professionally, he is a member of Oregon Medical Association, American Medical Association and American Academy of Family Practice. Personally, he enjoys scuba diving, kayaking, camping and fishing. He also loves spending time with his wife, two children and their three dogs.

He enjoys the full spectrum of family medicine.

Pam Hiransomboon-Vogel, DNP, APRN, FNP-BC, ACHPN
Title: Nurse Practitioner

Dr. Pam Hiransomboon-Vogel received her Doctorate in Nursing Practice (DNP), Masters in Nursing, Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) and Bachelor of Science from Oregon Health & Science University in Portland, Oregon. She has more than a decade of leadership and clinical experience throughout the continuum of care from critical care, post-acute care, home-based primary care, to hospice and palliative care. Pam joined the Bristol Hospice ~ Oregon team in 2016 as a Nurse Practitioner and works closely with the other medical team to provide excellence in clinical care.

Pam is an Advanced Certified Hospice and Palliative Care Nurse (ACHPN) and Board Certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-BC). She is a licensed advanced practice registered nurse in Oregon. She is actively involved in several professional organizations, including Hospice & Palliative Nurses Association, Nurse Practitioner of Oregon, and American Association of Nurse Practitioners.

In her free time, Pam enjoys traveling, spending time with her husband and toddler son, and reading.
