Meet Our Executive Leader and Providers

Our seasoned Executive Director and board-certified Medical Directors and nurse practitioner lead an expert interdisciplinary team of advanced practice professionals, nurses, social workers, chaplains, and aides who specialize in caring for people facing a serious illness or life-limiting condition. Our team is actively involved in each patient’s plan of care in order to achieve the best outcome.

Vanessa Noonan, RN
Title: Executive Director

Vanessa first joined the Bristol Hospice ~ Oregon team in 2012 as Director of Patient Care Services, and played an integral role in the operational start up. She was appointed as Executive Director in 2014. Vanessa graduated from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV) with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and has resided in Portland Oregon since 2001.

Vanessa has many years of leadership and clinical experience in community health including home health and hospice. Prior to join Bristol Hospice ~ Oregon, she held clinical leadership positions at Adventist Home Health, Legacy Emanuel Hospital and St. Joseph Hospital.

Vanessa enjoys working with the senior population, providing care and support to patients and their families to maintain the highest quality of life. She focuses on keeping the Bristol Hospice ~ Oregon team knowledgeable on the latest end-of-life care trends and information.

In her free time, Vanessa is an avid reader, involved in her community and cherishes the time spent with her family as they enjoy the beauty of Oregon.

Christopher Eilersen, M.D
Title: Medical Director

Dr. Eilersen is a board-certified family medicine physician. He attended medical school at Oregon Health and Sciences University. He completed residency in family medicine at The Washington Hospital in Washington, Pennsylvania.

Professionally, he is a member of Oregon Medical Association, American Medical Association and American Academy of Family Practice. Personally, he enjoys scuba diving, kayaking, camping and fishing. He also loves spending time with his wife, two children and their three dogs.

He enjoys the full spectrum of family medicine.

Heidi Hagman, M.D., H.M.D.C
Title: Hospice Physician

Dr. Hagman grew up in Oregon, attended
Oregon State University studying chemical
engineering and OHSU for med school and
residency. She spent 10 years in Mission Viejo, California as a primary care internist and 8 years in Portland before joining Comfort Hospice in 2014 as Medical Director.

In 2019 she joined Bristol Hospice as part of the merger with Comfort Hospice and Palliative Care. Dr. Hagman is married and enjoys international travel with her husband, especially attending the Olympics.

Dr. Hagman is also Hospice Medical Director Certified (HMDC).

Harry Krulewitch, M.D.
Title: Hospice Physician

Dr. Krulewitch is an assistant professor in
Family Medicine at OHSU -Oregon Health and Sciences University where he teaches Family practice residents geriatrics, chronic disease management, polypharmacy, palliative and end of life care. He has practiced geriatrics in Portland since 1993 working at the first national PACE replication site for nine years and since then has been in private practice caring for older adults in multiple community based long term care settings.

He served as president of the Oregon Geriatric Society in 2008. In addition to being a Bristol Hospice Physician, he is on the Oregon Partnership to Improve Dementia Care, and the Oregon Serious Illness Coalition.

He enjoys leading public education programs promoting positive
aging, caregiving, and being with dying family members .

Christie Rivelli, FNP-C, ACHPN

Christie Rivelli received her Masters in Nursing, Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) from Washington State University – Vancouver. She received her Bachelor of Science from Colorado State University – Pueblo.

Christie is an Advanced Certified Hospice and Palliative Care Nurse (ACHPN) and is Certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C). She is a licensed advanced practice registered nurse in Oregon. She has more than a decade of clinical experience throughout the continuum of clinic and home-based primary care, palliative care, and hospice care.

In her free time, Christie enjoys spending time with her family, gardening, reading, and traveling.
